Getting Involved

  • Facility: Yard work/projects such as pulling weeds, pruning bushes/trees, picking up walnuts, mulching, and general upkeep of the exterior.
  • Indoor projects: Painting resident rooms, cleaning/organizing of food pantry and linen closet, installing shelving in the attic and organizing storage items.
  • Client Outreach: Teaching life skills classes; Leading small groups; One on one interaction.
Board/Committee Opportunities: Attend board orientation and meetings from 8-9 am on the third Wednesday of every month. If you are interested in becoming a part of the Board of Directors, there are certain expectations and responsibilities that are to be upheld. Volunteers are always needed at Trust House to assist with Life Skills programming; fundraising efforts; and holidays/special occasions.

Trust house is always in need of food, home and personal care products to help make resident's stay comfortable and productive. As we are a 24/7 facility, you may drop your donations off anytime. Support people in crisis through United Way of Roanoke Valley's campaign in your workplace.
